I’m a self-taught artist and have made metal sculpture since 1962, when I was in high school in northern California.
In 1987, I returned to sculpture after two decades doing other things, including serving in the Army, working for a Hindu guru, earning degrees from UC Berkeley and MIT, and pursuing a career in publishing.
I'm married to a painter, Charlotte Andry Gibbs, and we both have studios in our barn. I've been a full-time artist since 1999, and, among other locations, have shown with Alpers Fine Art in Andover, MA, since mid-2000.
